Join us from 10-14 April 2012 for Australia’s largest intervarsity debating competition in the nation’s capital.
As ANU Easters rapidly approaches, we invite you to join us at the best venues Canberra has to offer, to debate topics set by our amazing adjudication core, and enjoy a tournament made possible by an army of volunteers committed to supporting our dedicated organising committee. We promise it will be an Easters to remember!
We are pleased to announce that the Co-Convenors for Easters 2012 are Jacqui Yates and Richard Keys. Richard has stepped up to the role since the resignation of Chanelle Carr-Janif in November.
While Canberra is widely associated with offering about as much entertainment as a convalescent home, we don’t think you need to despair yet.
Beyond the standard offerings that ANU Debating provides to our interstate friends such as Mooseheads, where you can bump and grind to Ne*Yo or quench your thirst with a 1.25L blue icy cocktail, there are plenty of other things to do at all time of the day and night.
It’s our belief that you shouldn’t need to slum it because you have ventured across the country for a debating tournament. That’s why we are currently in negotiations with two 4.5 star hotels to make sure that ANU Easters is the most comfortable ever.
Progress for ANU Easters is rapidly moving forward, but it is never too late for your brilliant suggestions and ideas. If there is something you would like to see (pyrotechnics) or something you don’t (clowns) let us know and we will see what we can do.
You can contact us very easily here.
Join the funnies on Twitter. We'll be tweeting live during the tournament with #anueasters (help us make it a trending worldwide topic during the tournament).
