ANU Debating Society

While the ANU Debating Society is by no means large, we tend to think (and hey, who needs to ask for a second opinion) that we do most things pretty well. For a start, for the past few years we have run what has grown into the largest British Parliamentary Debating tournament in Australia, ANU Spring. This means a wealth of people with experience running tournaments. And Mooseheads pretty much loves us. We also tend to do okay at most major IVs. Recently, we have had teams in many Easters grand finals (2011, 2009, and winners in 2006). We broke a team to World’s quarter finals in 2010 the Australs, and had two break in 2011. We also get great enjoyment through consistently attending IVs across Australia and the World. Hosting Easters is our way of giving something back.
